Define the product being compared
Start with the existing grade, ionic type, technical documents and preparation conditions, and specify whether clarification, settling, drainage or filter cake is the priority. The PAM category helps narrow the range; select the specific grade for the medium and equipment. “Cationic PAM” alone does not identify an equivalent product.
Record conditions alongside results
Document the sample source, equipment, preparation and test conditions, and how clarification, settling or dewatering is evaluated. Use representative samples and keep key comparison conditions consistent.
Compare meaningful parameters
Compare viscosity and molecular weight together with concentration, temperature and test method. Requirements such as low residual monomer must match the specific grade, test evidence and intended use. A grade code or marketing description alone cannot establish low residual monomer.
Build a usable procurement brief
Share the existing documents, water-sample conditions, desired improvement, expected quantity and destination. This helps us organize the candidate range, specifications and documents to compare; confirm the specific grade through actual operating conditions or sample trials.
Technical references & scope
Industry references describe general uses. Product specifications, certifications and application results require the corresponding supplier documentation.
